In light of this worldwide pandemic, many of us had our lives come to a complete stand-still. We all had to “stay home” and if you’re like me, staying home was not part of my plan for 2020… at all.

It seems that the world is slowly opening up, and lockdown restrictions are being eased. This does not however mean that life will go back to “normal”… And I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. I know I had to hit the re-set button on my life at some point… and I was forced to do so this year. I’ve hit the re-set button on my goals, my dreams, and even more recently, my blog. I deleted my old blog (which was hard because I had built a strong community and I lost all my subscribers), and started this new, more niched down lifestyle blog. Cheers to new beginnings.

What I’m trying to say is, hitting the re-set button on your life (or parts thereof) is a good thing. So much clarity has come to me about life, my dreams and goals. I didn’t know how much I actually needed down-time where I can’t do anything, at all. And the greatest result of this whole thing… I have been able to figure out my real passion, which I’m sure will soon lead me to my purpose.

  1. I so agree with hitting the reset button to our life. I’ve found a lot of my goals and even things that bring me peace have changed since the pandemic. It’s not necessarily a bad thing… resetting not the pandemic. I’ve found that I enjoy the simpler things in life.
