Hey guys,

After years of trial and error, I have finally figured out what works for my skin and what doesn’t. And for almost two years now, I’ve been using Garnier SkinActive products and they have worked wonders. This blog post is just a few notes on some of the products I used for the past 3 months. I ended up using these because Dischem was out of stock of my usual Garnier Skin products, so I had to choose these.

I usually use the 3 in 1 face scrub for my face (wash, scrub and mask).

-96% ingredients of natural origin and it is enriched with Aloe Vera Extract. I mean, who doesn’t like Aloe Vera related products?

-Extremely hydrating, and leaves my skin feeling extra moisturized. I know the packaging says for normal to combination skin, but it works great for people with dry skin as well.

-Doesn’t have a strong scent (almost none actually), so it works great if your nose and eyes are sensitive to scent.

-The instructions for use says to use once daily, but I use twice daily (morning and evening).

-P.S: for all my vegan girlies, this product is vegan!

-Perfect for oily skin. This lotion has worked wonders for me and my usually oily skin as it offers “complete oil control”.

-It is a completely liquid lotion, so it would be easier to apply with a cotton pad. For great result, focus on the T-zone.

-It is a cleansing lotion, so I use it to cleanse after I’ve washed my face. Almost as a prep for my actual lotion.

-Has a rather strong scent, so if you are sensitive to scents, maybe don’t use this

-Consists of 96% of Natural ingredients and Vitamin E antioxidants.

-This moisturiser also contains organing aloe vera extract, so it is clearly good for skin.

-Leaves the skin extremely soft and feeling hydrated.

-It has a very soft, typical moisturiser scent, so it isn’t strong. (I can definitely smell the aloe vera).

So yes, although these were “substitute products” when I bought them, I am actually quite happy with how my skin reacted (or rather, didn’t react). So I will definitely use them again.
