New habits that ought to improve your life should be easy right? or not. I recently decided on some new habits, like quitting social media and going on early morning hikes. For someone who has not done anything physical in years, the first hike was a challenge. But now that I’ve committed to going hiking every 2nd weekend for now (baby steps), it has become bearable, and even fun. I still have trouble waking up so early, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
I get to think, clear my mind, breathe fresh air, watch the sunrise from atop a mountain and see nature. What more could I ask for?
And who knows, maybe this new early morning habit will be my new favourite activity.
